The mission of the EHMIS Social Studies Department is to cultivate the abilities of young people to make informed and reasoned decisions for the public good as citizens of a culturally diverse and democratic society in an interdependent world.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
A few pictures from my trip to Ireland. Can't wait to go back!
You are one cool teacher Mr. Lawhead, you know that? But this is wikked, I am from Massachusetts, and my 7th grade geography teacher has a blog too! Yet, he hasn't updated it in over 9 months! woot! My aunt, uncle, and cousin just went to Ireland recently. They brought me a book called "The New Policeman." It was good. We talk to everyone soon! Or not. No, not really, I was kidding. But Mr. Lawhead, you keep rocking those funky socks you have. That's right. Oh, and remember this: There is NO ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Think about that.
