Let's take tons of pictures this week of the storm and I will put the best on the website.

If Chloe wants to answer the phone, GET OUT OF THE WAY!  Almost had a causality yesterday.  HEADS UP!

YOU SAID IT!!

From our poll of students after the Japan and Korea Exam, there is overwhelming support for our online testing.  We had 63 students who liked the new style of testing and 15 who disliked it.  In other words, 81% of students enjoyed taking our exam online.

Remember, if you are a student who enjoys taking a paper copy of the exam as opposed to the online version, please let me know and we will take care of it!

Thanks

My Culture Poster Project

Hey gang. Just a reminder...You should be working on your poster project over the weekend. Remember that you need to find 2 pictures for each of the elements of culture (total 16 pictures). You also need to write a paragraph explaining each element (total 8 paragraphs). Also remember that this project is about YOU! All of your pictures and writing should be about you and your culture. Remember that we will have time in class on Monday to work on our posters, however you should not wait until Monday to start working. You should be doing work over the weekend so lighten your load on Monday. My recommendation is to get all of your pictures ready over the weekend at the very least, and concentrate on the writing in class on Monday. Or...you can get the entire project finished over the weekend!! This is your first graded assignment, lets get started off the right way! If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

Period 8 - Monday April 30

Hey gang
Sorry I can't be here today....away game at Kennard-Dale (p.s. I'd rather be in school with you guys).  Anyway, here is what I need you to do in the lab while I'm away today.  We are going to continue doing background research on South Africa.  You must do the following items today in class:

1 - Check your school GMAIL

2 - Take a 50 States Test

3 - South Africa 54321 Worksheet (I explain it on the Voki)

4 - South Africa Vocabulary (use the internet, not the textbook)

Most students finished both today in class but it took them the majority of class to finish.  If you finish early, do some additional research so that you are ahead of the game in knowing the country we are studying.  Also, you can prepare for the 50 states test as well.

Sorry again for missing....I'll see you tomorrow.  If you have any questions, email me and I'll try to get back to you ASAP.
