Venice - Day 1 Recap!!
What an awesome day! Didn't sleep much on the plane and only managed thirty minutes after we got here but wanted to get out and about. We ended up heading to Rialto which was an amazing view of the Grand Canal and all that happens on it. It was pretty neat seeing all the little shops too. Then we headed to buy some train tickets for the next day (lesson learned from last year!) and headed for an island visit. We landed on a small island called Burano which was AMAZING! If I could pick a place to live before I passed away, Burano might be it. So quaint, so simple, so beautiful. Finally we headed to San Marco's Plaza which was jumping. We went to the world famous Harry's Bar and got completely ripped off, but ended up seeing Ozzy walk into the bar just as we were leaving! Unbelievable. After some great night pictures at the Rialto Bridge, we headed back to sleep and get ready for a busy second day!
