50 States Test #2 Coming Soon!!!

The second 50 States test will be coming up very soon!!! In fact, the test is going to be Wednesday or Thursday (Nov. 4 or 5). This test will be GRADED and will appear on your first marking period. Be sure to be prepared...there will not be any time for retests.

SW Asia Exam

In preparing for the SW Asia Exam, please think about doing the following...

1 - Use your learning map to review the LEQ's. These will be the short answer questions on the exam.

2 - MAPS, MAPS, MAPS!!! Review the physical and political maps of SW Asia because they WILL be on the exam.

3 - Guided Readings 1-4. We answered specific questions for a reason!

Marine Corps Marathon is approaching fast!!!

On October 25, 2009, 30,000 runners and more than 100,000 spectators will participate in the 34th Marine Corps Marathon (MCM). The MCM, organized by the United States Marine Corps, is the fifth largest marathon in the United States and tenth largest in the world.

Hey gang. Hope that you are enjoying the extended weekend - I am!! When you get back, we will continue our study of Southwest Asia. Wednesday and Thursday we will begin our research for your specific country. If we have done enough research, we will then begin completing our projects.

There will be a physical map quiz on Thursday and the final retest for the 50 States Test #1. Please prepare yourself for these quizzes as each assignment can help or hurt your grade. If you have any questions, please ask. Thanks and see you soon!
