Class News for Week of October 20

Hey gang! Well, we are closing in on the end of the 1st Marking Period. One important question to ask yourself - Is my notebook in a three-ring binder and in order? The notebook check will be upon you very soon!
This week we will wrap up our study of the United States. You will have your second 50 States Test as well as a Physical Map test early this week. We will finish the week with a short quiz on the U.S. and begin researching for our RV Across the U.S. project.
Get ready to finish up the 1st Marking Period!!

Good question. The notebook check will be sometime next week. Please keep in mind that your notebook should already be in good order. Lets develop good organizational skills now so you don't have to worry about it ever again!

Oh My Goodness! I have to get my paper from Molly that i let her borrow and check the order of mine! Why do kids even have to have a notebook check? Some won't even keep them in order (not me i keep mine perfect). You should have a notebook check at the end of the year and see what kids kept all of thier papers organized, and all of the kids that have exactly all of thier papers can have like a pizza party or something like that. Or they could get like a prize pencil or something else. Thank you for your time! =)

The notebook check will be worth 50 points. I will post a final table of contents list on Monday morning. Everything must be in order and every paper must be in the three rings.

You can come to my room before school, during homeroom, during Colt, and after school to get your notebooks in order. The papers are listed in order in our sample table of contents.
