For a MAN(ITOBA)
After visiting, I continued ON(TARIO)
In search of some vitamin Q(UEBEC)
But instead found two dogs named NEW FOUNDLAND and LABRADOR
I ventured on in search of something NEW (BRUNSWICK)
And asked the PRINCE (EDWARD ISLAND) for money
But he said NO (VA SCOTIA)

that saying goes from east to west right ?
Nope! The saying starts on the western side of Canada, near the Pacific Ocean and extends to the eastern side by the Atlantic Ocean.
