50 States Problem Shooting
So the problem with the 50 States Study site is that they are now using adds. To fix this, you need to allow the ads to show for the website. Here are the steps:
1. Click on the link
2. In the upper right hand, there is a red "stop sign" looking icon. Click on that.
3. You need to enable ads for the site.
4. Go to www.lawheadwg.blogspot.com
5. Click on the link. It SHOULD work.

A Long Walk To Water - AUDIOBOOK
Below is a link to a playlist of a teacher reading the book as an audio book. You don't have to watch the videos but the audio is the same as what you are reading in the book. Use this resource or don't use this resource - the option is yours! There is a link and a QR code to access the audiobook.

Mystery Skype 3-9-16
4th Period was lucky enough to have a Mystery Skype with a class in Alberta, Canada on Wednesday. The kids really enjoyed it and are trying to get a "Breakfast Club" organized for next year to Skype with classrooms in Europe.

Great Google Hangout
Easily the best part of the week was being able to connect with a former athlete and student from South Western via Google Hangout who is serving our country in Iraq. The kids asked great questions and hopefully learned a little bit about the country, about service, and about life. Big thanks to Jack for taking time out of his busy schedule to chat with these lucky kids.
