Hey gang...I'm out again for baseball.  I apologize.  Here is what I need you do accomplish today:

1 - REVISE
Every person in the group should be helping revise each page.  This means reading over the paragraphs and making any corrections that you think should be made.  Have a discussion with eachother if something needs fixed.

2 - PRINT OUT FINAL PAGES
We should be pretty close to being finished.  I would like to see final pages tomorrow to give you your Quality Points grade tomorrow.

3 - MAKE SURE THE GROUP SECTIONS ARE FINISHED
Remember that you are being graded on these also! 

4 - REMEMBER THE LITTLE THINGS
     - Clean up the MMC.  Make sure that it is as clean as when you entered.
     - DON'T CLOSE THE COMPUTERS UNTIL THE SCREEN IS BLANK
     - Bring all the materials that are mine back to my room please.

50 States Retest

To all those who must retake their 50 States Test...

It is YOUR responsibility to come and take the retest this week.  Your options are:
1-Before school.
2-Colt (preferably Day 1 or Day 4)
3-During class.

Come see me to retake the test.  Remember to study.

Today is a work day!

Things you need to do:
1 - Finish maps and flag
2 - Finish all 1st drafts.
3 - Staple together rough drafts.
4 - Revise everything.

PROJECT WEEK

Last week to work on the project.  How much do you have to work on at home???????

Be sure to be on task in class as the time is going to go fast.  Any questions, please let me know.

Period 8 - Directions

Quick recap of the video...just in case technology fails....

1 - All maps and the flag should be STARTED and close to finished.
2- Everything should be printed out (first copies).
3 - Take all of your papers and staple them in order (according to the rubric).

A few reminders...
1 - There should be pictures with every page.
2 - You should have at least two paragraphs of writing for each page.

Island Project Reminders

As this project winds down, a few reminders:

1 - Remember to fill in the computer copy of the country bio sheet for your island.

2 - COMMUNICATE with your group.  Everyone should be on the same page.

Western Europe - Last Chances

Hey everyone.  If you are trying to do any redo with the DEMONSTRATIONS or PPT for your Western Europe Vacation, you must do so during COLT or before school during the week of May 7th-11th.  I WILL NOT be seeing students during lunch this upcoming week.

Any retakes for the eight elements exam must be discussed with me.
